A regional reference for graffiti reports
East Texas Graffiti Reporting and Tracking preserves submitted photos and incident details. Each record keeps the photos, location, date, and property details together.
For law enforcement
Investigators can search by visible tag, location, date, property, or incident number. They can compare new reports with earlier photos. They can gather related incident records for agency or prosecutor review.
Official reports and case decisions remain with the responsible agency.
For property owners
Call 911 if the damage is happening now or someone is in danger. Report existing damage to the police or sheriff’s office that serves the property.
Property owners can document damage, repair estimates, invoices, cleanup work, and agency contacts. These records may help with a police report, insurance claim, or request for restitution.
For community contributors
Report active damage or immediate danger to 911. Take photos from a public place or somewhere you have permission to enter.
Community contributors can submit photos, the location, and the date the graffiti was found. The report should describe what the contributor personally observed.
Why record a graffiti incident?
Recording the incident gives law enforcement and prosecutors in other jurisdictions information about potentially related property damage. It may help them connect a new report to earlier locations and measure documented damage across several incidents.
How to record a graffiti incident?
Upload the original photos when possible. The site reads available date and location information. It groups nearby photos and places them on a map. You can correct the location and add details before saving the incident.
Submitting information here does not create an official police report. If you have already contacted an agency, add the report number to the incident record.
ETX Graffiti is a private, non-government effort. The City of Lindale, Smith County, and local police agencies do not operate or sponsor it. Our goal is to reduce property damage around our homes and businesses, reserving the wealth of the community for useful activities.
